Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 September 2026

These are the terms for our driving lessons and courses. For the terms covering your use of this website, see our Terms of Use.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all driving lessons, intensive driving courses, practical test preparation, and related services provided by Pass Mee (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).

By booking or purchasing driving lessons or an intensive driving course with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Driving Lessons

1.1. All driving lessons are subject to instructor availability.

1.2. Lesson times and dates will be agreed between you and your instructor. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred times, but cannot guarantee specific dates or times unless confirmed by us.

1.3. Your instructor may change from time to time where reasonably necessary.

1.4. You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence, or otherwise be legally entitled to drive the vehicle used for your lessons.

1.5. You are responsible for informing us of any medical condition, medication, eyesight issue, or other circumstance that may affect your ability to drive safely or meet DVLA requirements.

2. Payments

2.1. Payment must be made in accordance with the prices and payment arrangements confirmed at the time of booking.

2.2. Intensive courses and other packages must be paid for in accordance with the agreed payment schedule before the relevant lessons are provided, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3. Course prices are based on the number of hours and services stated at the time of purchase. Additional lessons or services requested by you may incur additional charges.

2.4. We reserve the right to refuse or suspend lessons where payment due has not been received.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

3.1. We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson.

3.2. If you cancel or reschedule with less than the required notice, the lesson may be charged in full.

3.3. If you fail to attend a lesson without providing notice, the lesson may be treated as completed and charged accordingly.

3.4. We may cancel or rearrange a lesson due to instructor illness, vehicle problems, adverse weather, road conditions, test-related circumstances, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to rearrange the lesson.

4. Intensive Driving Courses

4.1. Intensive driving courses are structured programmes designed to provide concentrated driving tuition over a shorter period.

4.2. An intensive course does not guarantee that you will pass your practical driving test or that you will become test-ready by the end of the course.

4.3. The number of hours required to reach a safe and test-ready standard varies between individuals. Your instructor may recommend additional lessons where they believe further tuition is necessary.

4.4. Any estimated course duration or suggested test date is an estimate only and is not a guarantee that you will be ready to take the test on that date.

4.5. You remain responsible for ensuring that you meet all legal requirements to take the practical driving test, including holding the appropriate licence and meeting any DVSA requirements.

4.6. For longer training sessions, reasonable comfort and refreshment breaks may be included. Your instructor will manage any breaks appropriately, taking into account safety, concentration levels, and the intensive nature of the training.

5. Premium 45-Hour Intensive Course – Retest Fee

5.1. Customers who purchase the Premium 45-Hour Intensive Course may be eligible for us to cover the cost of one practical driving test retest fee, subject to the conditions in this section.

5.2. This offer applies only to the practical driving test retest fee and does not include additional driving lessons, vehicle hire, administration fees, cancellation fees, booking fees, or any other costs unless expressly agreed in writing.

5.3. The retest-fee offer applies only where the customer has completed the full 45-hour Premium Intensive Course.

5.4. The offer applies to one retest only. Any further practical test fees will be the customer’s responsibility.

5.5. The retest-fee offer does not constitute a guarantee that the customer will pass their driving test.

5.6. The customer is responsible for arranging and attending the original practical driving test and any subsequent retest, unless test-booking assistance has been expressly included as part of the course.

5.7. If the customer does not attend the test, cancels the test, or loses the test fee for any reason other than failing the practical driving test, we reserve the right not to reimburse or cover the test fee.

5.8. We reserve the right to request reasonable evidence of the test result and retest fee before providing reimbursement or payment.

5.9. The retest-fee offer has no cash alternative and cannot be transferred to another person.

6. Test Readiness

6.1. Completion of an intensive course does not guarantee that you will be test-ready.

6.2. Driving ability develops at different rates for different learners. Completion of the stated number of course hours does not mean that the instructor considers you ready to take the practical driving test.

6.3. Your instructor will assess your driving ability and progress throughout your lessons.

6.4. The instructor has the right to refuse the use of the school’s vehicle for a practical driving test if, in the instructor’s reasonable professional judgement, you are not at a safe and appropriate standard to undertake the test.

6.5. This decision may be based on, but is not limited to, your ability to drive safely and independently, your ability to deal with normal road conditions, your understanding and application of the Highway Code, your ability to perform required manoeuvres, your ability to respond appropriately to hazards, and your ability to drive to the standard reasonably expected for the practical driving test.

6.6. The purpose of this provision is to protect the safety of you, the instructor, other road users, and the school’s vehicle.

6.7. Where an instructor determines that you are not test-ready, they may recommend additional lessons before allowing you to use the school’s vehicle for a practical driving test.

6.8. If you choose to take a practical driving test against the instructor’s recommendation, you may be required to use your own vehicle or make alternative arrangements, subject to applicable legal and insurance requirements.

7. Use of the Instructor’s Vehicle for the Practical Test

7.1. Use of the school’s vehicle for a practical driving test is subject to the instructor being satisfied that the vehicle can be used safely and that you are sufficiently prepared to undertake the test.

7.2. The fact that a practical driving test has been booked does not automatically entitle you to use the school’s vehicle for that test.

7.3. The instructor’s decision regarding the safety and suitability of allowing you to use the vehicle for the test will be based on their professional assessment at or before the test.

7.4. If the instructor reasonably believes that allowing you to use the vehicle would present an unacceptable safety risk, they may refuse use of the vehicle.

8. Practical driving tests

Pupil is responsible for booking, paying for, checking and managing their own practical driving test through the official DVSA service.

Pupil must provide accurate details of the test centre, date and time.

Wherever possible, the pupil should consult the instructor before changing or accepting a new test date. An earlier appointment may not allow sufficient preparation time or may conflict with the instructor’s existing commitments.

8.1 DVSA cancellation or alteration

Neither we nor the instructor are responsible for any test cancelled, delayed, relocated or otherwise changed by the DVSA. Any rearranged test remains subject to instructor and vehicle availability.

Tuition already provided remains payable. Where reasonably possible, we will help the pupil discuss revised arrangements; however, we cannot guarantee that the same instructor, vehicle or timetable will be available for the replacement appointment.

8.2 Test booking rules

The pupil is responsible for complying with current DVSA rules, including restrictions on changing appointments, cancellation deadlines and eligibility requirements.

8.3 Driving Test Results

8.4. We do not guarantee that you will pass your practical driving test.

8.5. Driving test results are determined by the DVSA examiner and are outside our control.

8.6. Our instructors will provide tuition, guidance, and feedback intended to help you develop the skills required to drive safely and meet the required driving test standard.

8.7. Previous driving experience, the number of lessons completed, or completion of an intensive course does not guarantee a particular test result.

9. Additional Lessons

9.1. If your instructor considers additional tuition necessary before you are ready for your practical test, they may recommend additional lessons.

9.2. Additional lessons are charged separately unless expressly included within your purchased package.

9.3. You are not required to purchase additional lessons merely because they have been recommended; however, the instructor may still exercise their right under these Terms and Conditions not to provide the school’s vehicle for a practical test where they reasonably believe you are not test-ready.

10. Instructor and Vehicle Safety

10.1. Lessons may be stopped or postponed where the instructor believes it would be unsafe to continue.

10.2. The instructor may refuse to allow you to drive where they reasonably believe that you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair your ability to drive safely.

10.3. The instructor may also stop a lesson where your behaviour creates a safety risk to yourself, the instructor, the vehicle, or other road users.

10.4. No refund will normally be provided for a lesson stopped due to unsafe or inappropriate behaviour by the learner.

11. Punctuality

11.1. You are expected to arrive on time for all lessons.

11.2. Where you arrive late, the lesson will normally finish at the originally agreed time and the lost time may not be recoverable.

11.3. Where the instructor is delayed, they will make reasonable efforts to provide the full lesson time or rearrange any lost time where reasonably practicable.

12. Weather and Road Conditions

12.1. Lessons may be cancelled, shortened, or rearranged where weather or road conditions make driving unsafe.

12.2. The instructor will make the final decision as to whether a lesson can safely proceed.

13. Complaints

13.1. If you have a complaint regarding your lessons, instructor, intensive course, or any other service, you should contact the company as soon as reasonably possible.

13.2. We will investigate complaints fairly and aim to respond within a reasonable period.

13.3. Complaints should normally be made within 7 days of the event giving rise to the complaint.

14. Limitation of Guarantees

14.1. We provide driving tuition and training but cannot guarantee that you will:

  • pass your driving test
  • be test-ready after completing a particular number of hours
  • require no additional lessons
  • obtain a particular test date
  • receive a particular test result
  • become test-ready within a particular timeframe

14.2. Any guidance provided by an instructor regarding your expected readiness, likely progress, or suggested test date is an assessment based on the information available at that time and is not a guarantee.

15. Changes to Courses and Services

15.1. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to our prices, course structure, lesson availability, or services.

15.2. Where a material change affects a course that you have already purchased, we will communicate the change to you and, where required by law, provide any applicable rights or remedies.

16. Personal Property

16.1. We are not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

17. Data Protection

17.1. We will process your personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

17.2. Personal information may be used for purposes including arranging lessons, communicating with you, processing payments, administering courses, and meeting legal or regulatory obligations.

18. Governing Law

18.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

18.2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable UK law.

19. Acceptance of Terms

19.1. By booking a lesson, purchasing an intensive course, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read and understand these Terms and Conditions.

19.2. These Terms and Conditions should be read together with any booking confirmation, course-specific terms, pricing information, and our Privacy Policy.
