Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Pass Mee Driving School (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Pass Mee Driving School provides driving lessons and courses in Nottingham, England. You can contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email, or via the contact form on this website — see our Contact page for current details.

What information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, such as when you fill in our contact form (name, email address, phone number if provided, and your message) or message us by phone, WhatsApp or email. We do not collect payment information through this website.

If we use website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) or similar cookies to understand how visitors use this site, we will only do so with your consent via the cookie banner shown when you first visit, and we’ll tell you more about that below.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry — when you contact us about lessons or courses, we use your details to reply and, if you go ahead, to arrange and deliver driving tuition. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and to perform that contract once you become a student.
  • To improve this website — where you’ve consented to analytics cookies, we use aggregated, anonymised information to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
  • To meet legal obligations — for example, keeping basic records as required by UK tax and accounting law.

Cookies

This site uses essential cookies needed for it to function. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies, you’ll be asked for your consent first via a cookie banner, and you can change your preferences at any time. Declining non-essential cookies won’t stop you contacting us or using the rest of the site.

Sharing your information

We don’t sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted third parties who help us run this website and our business — for example, our website hosting provider, our email provider, and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp (operated by Meta) if you choose to contact us that way. These providers only process your information on our instructions and are required to keep it secure.

If this site embeds a Google Map, Google may set its own cookies when the map loads — please see Google’s own privacy policy for how they handle that information.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and student records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information, where applicable
  • Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing
  • Ask for your information to be moved to another organisation, where applicable

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details on our Contact page. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

Children’s information

Learner drivers can be as young as 17 (or 16 in some circumstances). Where a student is under 18, we only collect the information necessary to arrange and deliver lessons safely, and we encourage parents or guardians to be involved in initial enquiries where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
