How to Prepare for Your Driving Test

July 20, 2026

Test day nerves are completely normal. Here’s how to walk in feeling ready.

Practice the exact maneuvers your test will cover — parallel parking, three-point turns, and reversing around a corner are common favorites with examiners. Book a mock test with your instructor a week or two before the real thing so there are no surprises.

Get familiar with the test route if possible, but don’t over-rely on memorizing turns — examiners want to see you respond to the road, not a script.

On the day itself, arrive early, bring your documents, and take a few deep breaths before you start the car. A calm driver makes fewer mistakes than a rushed one.
